I had taken a screenshot of the supposed "leak" that someone posted on here the other day about GTA VI before it was removed/deleted.
Take this with a mighty grain of salt. I doubt this person is being honest, but I thought that I would post this anyway for the people that didn't get to see it.
Here is the image: Link
Edit: Some people think the OP is me. If you take a look at my replies in the comments then you will clearly see that I also believe this guy could be bullshitting people. I only posted this just in case the OP was deleted/removed so I could share it with people that didn't get to see it. Put down your knives and pitchforks people, because it will achieve nothing.
Don't shoot the messenger.
It's so strange - people come to this reddit for leaks, but call them bullshit the moment they see them and don't even THINK to believe them or give them the benefit of the doubt - that's some Rockstar-like logic right there.
Even worse, people think the guy that deleted the post is me because this account is new. The only reason I created this account was for the soul purpose of sharing the since deleted post so people could view and share their own opinions, whether it to be false or true. Either way, I though it was interesting enough just to create an account for.
Even though I have told people that this "leak" is most likely false and to "take this with a mighty grain of salt" I still get shit on regardless and called a liar. I guess thats the logic that people use nowadays.
It‘s fucking bullshit mate. Hahahahahahah that’s really not how fucking game testing works, like, not at ALL. You don’t get to freely explore, especially not when testing R* titles. „Go shoot that into every object on the level to test if physics work“ „Go out of bounds for this mission and find every possible exit so we can create a failure state“ That’s more like it Enjoy the countryside hahahahhaahvav
From some of the RDR2 leaks, I feel like this actually rings true in a lot of ways.
First, a lot of the GTAisms of real world places (The Florida Keys being The Chain) are a bit too clever for a rando to include in a fake leak.
Second, the compartmentalization of the development teams working on the game world and the team working on the main story seem to HEAVILY correlate with all the very obviously cut content found in RDR2. Arthur was very clearly meant to make it to New Austin at a relatively late point in development because they have dialogue recorded for him if you glitch in there.
Rockstar leaks are never this specific. The only things that leaked before RDR2 was announced were an early image of the map which didn't include New Austin BTW, that the protagonist was called "Arthur", a vague description of the plot and that there was a mission where a foal gives birth (lmfao). Other things leaked a few months before the game released but GTA VI isn't anywhere close to that stage.
Way back in 2016 there was a leak about rdr2 that leaked everything about the game including the ending but nobody believed it and the guy ended up removing it because of the abuse he received
That’s interesting, maybe this guy has done the same thing. There could be really only three possibilities here.
(1) He is bullshitting and removed the post because of the heat he was getting.
(2) He was telling the truth and was threatened to delete it.
(3) He was telling the truth and the post was immediately removed by R*
Could he have done what the RDR2 guy did? Maybe he was telling the truth, but for some odd reason decided to delete it.
I feel like if he was telling the truth then there was no reason for him to delete his post, unless he has been threatened or the post has been forcefully removed by someone else.
The leaker may be full of shit but the actual game will most likely be pretty accurate to what he said. Everyone is expecting GTA 6 to be the biggest game of all time. Every major GTA since 3 was groundbreaking and literally considered some of the best games of all time. GTA 6 won't be any different, especially if the budget ends up being something like $500M which probably will be.
Of course it's "believable", there's no way of verifying if anything that was said is true or not.
I don't reckon it's true. A leak from a QA tester that talks so much about his experience in the office would likely have mentioned the horrendous conditions and their full-time employment as of mid 2019.
QA Testers being able to freely explore the game and enjoy it hhahahahh That rings immediately false man, go work in R* QA unless you like Software Testing and figuringthings out(NOT PLAYING GAMES, because that’s not what fucking qa is) you‘re gonna be miserable
This is very interesting, thanks for catching this for us. Real or not? I dono. . It seems like everything the OP has mentioned are definitely what I would be expecting from a release this huge, its yot me very excited non the same.
What do you guys think & are there any other posts or leaks on this title?
